The St. George Island Volunteer Fire Department (SGIVFD) consists of
approximately 26 volunteer active duty
members who provide fire/rescue and emergency medical services to the
residents/visitors of St. George Island, Florida.

St. George Island is a retirement community
in the Gulf of Mexico, and is located in
Franklin County, which is
approximately 65 miles southwest of Tallahassee,
Florida.
